Do it because it's unexpected, it builds a memory, you'll definitely remember it, and no one else has. What's your favorite place?
She's been wanting to see it
The hike itself was only a mile or two, but straight up, both ways. The drive there was challenging, the potholes on gravel with sharp rock here and there. Not for the faint of heart, you have t want t. Much like how you want to get married to this person in the first place.
Funny story, on my way back down I got lost, a fact I was blissfully unaware of until I came to a man resembling a cross between Gandalf waiting in a clearing, surrounded by a cloud of smoke. I was thinking I don't recall a clearing just as he asked me what trail we were on.
There are other trails? A question for a question is never a good answer.
Thankfully, we pointed one another toward a parking lot and a view, respectively. The lot wasn't the one Iwanted but I met a brand new friend there in rainbow thigh highs who gave me a ride to my own car. Yes, this did happen and was not a bi-product of second hand substance smoke.
The moral of the story is that even if the trail you're on isn't marked, that doesn't mean there aren't other trails and probably downloading all-trails is a good idea.
